3D model description

ID.4 interior has no place to put sunglasses or for that matter any type of glasses. I used to put mine right on the dashboard behind the instrumental display, but my sunglasses would get so hot in the summer it was impossible to put them on. And on a cloudy day, they would slide across the dashboard annoying me.
So I came up with this design that has two blades on the bottom that go into cardholder slots at the front of the central console.
Best if printed from heat-resistant PETG, ASA, or ABS plastic
Prints in two pieces and held together by 4 3M x 10mm screws.
The inside dimensions of the tray are approximately 6(widest)x2.5 inches, depth 1 1/8 inch.

3D printing settings

  • material PETG, ABS, or ASA
  • layer height 0.2-0.3 mm
  • number of walls - 2 or more
  • infill - 15-30%
