(FRANKFORT, KY) –The Kentucky Department of Education's (KDE's) Commissioner's Student Advisory Council will meet May 31 at 9 a.m. ET.
The purpose of this group is to advise Kentucky's commissioner of education and KDE's leadership team on issues relevant to high school students. The group meets both in person and virtually to discuss how decisions made at the state level are affecting students throughout Kentucky. Council members provide feedback on critical issues impacting students and schools, and work with KDE staff to develop ideas to improve and transform education.
The meeting will be held in person at the KDE building, 300 Sower Blvd., Kentucky Board of Education meeting room 514. A livestream of the meeting will be available on the KDE Media Portal.
