Jö Schüftan: We are LA live. Nokia Plaza in downtown Los Angeles, California, for the fifth edition of the Revolver Golden Gods Awards. It doesn't get any better than this.

[talking to Bumblefoot and Mrs. Bumblefoot]

JS: Not only an event for the musicians but obviously for all the families here at in the 5th edition of Golden Gods. How are you Bumblefoot?

BBF: I'm doing wonderful, how are you?

JS: Dude, look at me seeing around all these talents, it's inspiring-

BBF: It's great, you guys get to talk to all these people, you know, I mean, look, there's Alice Cooper right there! There's like everybody.

JS: So you're looking forward to seeing any perform tonight?

BBF: Everybody. Yeah, definitely Metallica, that's one, yeah, for sure. [pointing to wife] You saw Metallica when you're like 13 years old, sneaking into L'Amour in Brooklyn when they were playing there.

JS: They're still doing it so many years later.

BBF: Yeah. It's cool as hell.

JS: What are you guys up to? You know, you're always pretty busy yourself.

BBF: Busy, yes. What am I doing? My god, all right, let me think. August 10th to 17th I'm gonna be giving guitar workshops and jamming on the island of Corfu, Greece, at a thing called Rock Guitar School... no it's Corfu Rock School. I just got off a plane, I'm all fucked up. But so, yeah, Corfu Rock School and I'm really looking forward to it cuz I haven't done something like that in years because of the touring schedule you just don't get to do that stuff. So doing that, doing... you know, we got... Guns is going out again in a couple of weeks, just some US stuff, that should be really nice. Oh, what else? What else? Oh, me and Tony Harnell were on an acoustic album together. Tony did an acoustic album, I'm playing guitar on there, it's a wonderful thing. We have proceeds going towards breast cancer research. It's a wonderful thing. What else? What else is... what am I doing? Yeah, we're doing Rocklahoma, doing River City, Rock Fest, we're doing Governor's Ball... a lot of stuff with Guns, so yeah, just a ton of stuff, so yeah, good.

JS: How's it feel to be here in LA with all the family, all the fans?

BBF: Overwhelming! Finally got here. It was not easy to get here today, but we got here.

JS: We are here brother, thank you very much. Have fun tonight, enjoy the performances.
