Well, it looks like it’s official now. After several days of sporadic reporting on Russia’s decision to shut down the Nord Stream 1 natural gas pipeline into western Europe, it looks like the valves have been shut down until EU sanctions against Russia are removed.
Strategically the Nord Stream 1 pipeline is the major gas supply route into Germany, Europe’s largest economy. As noted by Reuters, “European gas prices, as measured by the benchmark Dutch TTF October gas contract, rose by as much as 30% on Sept. 5, amid growing fears of a total shutdown of Russian pipeline imports ahead of the European winter.”
Europe was already going into a deep economic recession due to inflation created by pre-existing green energy policy. The Nord Stream shutdown will make things exponentially worse as energy prices skyrocket. The Russian owned energy company Gasprom sent out a video that can be best described as psychological warfare. WATCH:

This is another casualty of the EU’s sanctions against Russia.

They had quite a bit to do with that, but they had even more to do with making Hitler a big threat to Europe. Stalin allowed Hitler to train the luftwaffe and German paratroops in Russia to help evade sanctions against Germany. And then it actually allied with Hitler and helped him conquer Poland, keeping half as a reward.
Russia’s great sacrifice to defeat the German army, was necessary because they had helped Build It Up.
And the only reason Russia ended up fighting with the allies is because Hitler betrayed Russia, as he’d intended to do all along.

Psychological warfare is when your governments turn off their people’s only way to heat their homes, in the big cities, and then tell them it’s for the good of the planet. (that you freeze to death). Psychological warfare is when you shut down and reduce food production at farms, food distribution centers and tell people the hunger is good, it encourages people to work more for less in return. And what was their alternative energy supply to prevent dependence on Russia? They have no short-to-medium term economical gas alternatives. Liquified natural gas is prohibitively expensive and in insufficient supply to replace Russian gas. More nuclear later perhaps, but too little, too late.
So Trump may as well warned the Europeans that water is wet, it’s orthogonal to the issue that the only economic gas source was Russia, and they had no other solution but to avoid escalation with Russia., but they are instead doubligh down, what does this tell us? They want their own citizens to kneel, for one thing.
But that escalation with Russia via Ukraine was planned long before this episode, so the issue is hidden in the agenda.

But the environmental movement begun in the 1970s was financed initially by the Soviet Union and Saudi Arabia. Initially, it probably was only to drive down us oil production to favor their own economies. I think by the time Greta came along, Putin probably had what is happening now in mind.

Europe is in a terrible situation. If the US were producing more oil and gas, we could help ameliorate the suffering. But Biden has chosen to help Putin have more leverage over Europe by gutting American oil and gas production, and very little of that shortfall could be made up in time for this winter even if Putin let Biden change his mind right now. So I see no real manner of alleviating the problem this year.
If Europeans would simply forget this Greta nonsense, they could build a great number of hydroelectric dams and nuclear power plants. Those were always the smart solution anyway. A few years ago France was producing 70% of its electricity from nuclear, and I believe it never had an accident.
Oh, and by the way I don’t know what to make of such a forecast, but the Old Farmers Almanac predicts an extremely cold winter in the United States with a lot of snow.
Do not forget to include a way to cook with your emergency supplies if you happen not to be located next to an enormous forest. If you are in a large city, consider which of your neighbors have a lot of wooden furniture. Or get out of there.

A Canadian firm repaired the turbines that push the gas to Europe from Russia via the Nordstream pipeline. They have not been shipped back to Russia because of “sanctions” that disallow financial transactions and remain in Canada. Europe is a suicide cult.
