Executive Director of Beyond Disabilities l TEDx Speaker l Keynote Speaker

There are so many barriers that need to be broken down. Sometimes, people forget how important access is, whether it’s transportation or even crossing the street. But there's one in particular that is important to me, and that is fitness. I am a motivational speaker and an athlete. I am proud to be working on two projects with Lindbergh High School and UC Santa Barbara! One project is an accessible rowing machine that is accessible for people in wheelchairs and can also be used by able-bodied people. The other project is an accessible cable machine. It is very important to me that everyone has an equal opportunity to accomplish their goals at their own pace. That's why I'm trying to change the dynamics of fitness! This is my story! #cerebralpalsy #wheelchairuser #awareness #advocate #motivationalspeaker #athlete #businessowner #story #contentcreator #leader #passion #proud #disability #disabilities #personofcolor #inclusion #inspiration #motivation #positivevibes #respect #educate #powerful #lifestyle

Campfire Boys & Girls Club, years ago, used to have a program that provided fitness and sports to teens with disabilities. It was great! It was building up everyone there, including the volunteers. Sometimes, it seems that the bigger disabilities are shared by the lack of people seeing past their own nose, and making assumptions of what visibly disabled people can and cannot do. It really takes bold and generous-hearted folks to push beyond the norms and the stereotypes. Thank you, Steve, for all that you do for so many people.

I would love to operate an inclusive gym to include equipment accessible for individuals in wheelchairs so individuals and DSPs can work out together. Keep up the great work and inspiration Steve Ferreira ! I have a site and individuals in Atlanta in need of equipment.
