Western Kentucky guard A.J. Slaughter joins Pistons roster for Summer League

AUBURN HILLS -- Western Kentucky guard A.J. Slaughter will play for the Detroit Pistons in the Summer League in Las Vegas next month, a Pistons spokesperson confirmed today.

The 6-foot-3, 180-pound Slaughter averaged 17.5 points, 4.3 assists and 3.2 rebounds last season as a senior at Western Kentucky.

Draft picks Greg Monroe and Terrico White are expected to participate in the Summer League for the Pistons, as are Jonas Jerebko, Austin Daye and DaJuan Summers, who were rookies last season.

The Pistons open Summer League action July 9 against the Los Angeles Lakers.
