ON HOLD: Ruby on Rails Developer(s) (Entry-level-to-Senior) (Boulder, CO)

Recently funded startup in downtown Boulder, CO is looking for smart, highly-motivated developers, hungry for a challenge. Very early stage opportunity with meaningful equity participation. Come help design and build a large scale system, from the ground up.

The ideal candidate will not only be a developer who can get things done and make things work, but should be a bit of a "jack of all trades," ready to pitch in where needed, whether with Sys Admin, integration testing, etc. Experience in a start-up environment is a plus, as is experience "wearing multiple hats" and working with a good breadth of technologies (especially open source).

Required Qualifications:

· Experience with Ruby on Rails

· JavaScript

· MySQL

· Object-oriented design

· Object/Relational Mapping

· Relational database experience

· Strong Linux skills (Ubuntu a plus)

· Experience developing large solutions

· 2+ years software development experience

Strongly Preferred qualifications:

· Contributions to open source and Web 2.0 projects

· Experience with other OO languages in addition to Ruby

· CS Degree or equivalent

Additional "nice to have" Qualifications:

· Experience with Cassandra or other NoSQL tool
