RoboCop movie review

Robocop would not be included in a discussion of the 80s' best action movies. Paul Verhoeven's first feature film is widely considered one of the most intelligent, but also the most critical film of the 1980s. Robocop was a film that in its day would have been dismissed as 1980s action fare. Its importance has only increased over time. While it does have the trappings for an action film as we all love them, Paul Verhoeven’s magic shines through. Although I sometimes feel the need to criticize my younger self for not being able to enjoy these things, I must admit that Robocop helped to get used to the idea of seeing graphic violence on the screens, which may have contributed blog post towards my eventual success.
