Remember SINBON's internship experience-sharing series? For those curious about administrative management, take advantage of it! Let's follow Ashley's journey and explore the life of an Office Administration intern together. [Hi, Ashley!] Let's talk about Ashley – a student curious about sustainability who sees sustainable issues like molding clay with a hundred people having a hundred different shapes. As an Office Administration intern at SINBON, Ashley excels at turning complex sustainability concepts into relatable words everyone can understand! [Office Administration? Tell me more!] From 0 to 1 isn't that simple. Facing tasks like designing ESG documents and planning a bilingual sustainability curriculum, Ashley needs to go from conceptualization to slide design and, finally, presentation layout. Therefore, she needs to tailor different content based on the audience. This process requires absorbing sustainability knowledge and translating it into simple language. [Behind-the-Scenes of Office Administration] Confronting the design of bilingual educational materials, Ashley feels like a guide at a crossroads. Despite society grappling with continuous sustainability issues and people feeling puzzled about where to start, guides lead companies forward. Even in Office Administration, Ashley appreciates the value of like-minded colleagues taking active steps to practice ESG principles. [About Office Administration, I want to say…] "Believe that you also have influence." Even if the influence might be limited, it can change the world when the power of many comes together. We play an indispensable role no matter where we are. The coordination, like gears, helps companies move toward a longer future. Carrying this mission is like planting seeds of sustainability, allowing them to take root, sprout, and blossom into beautiful flowers over time. #LifeAtSINBON #SINBONInternship #OfficeAdministration

🔵 It's time to meet Georgia Evans (UK), Senior Editorial Officer at Europeana Foundation, following our #CharterAllianceEU’s Young Professionals interviews in partnership with the European Heritage Hub! 📌 In relation to opportunities for the youth to develop careers in heritage, Georgia expressed: "I think that the issue is not so much attracting young people to work in heritage – there are so many examples of initiatives which show them leading the way! – but supporting young people to work in heritage. This of course needs to take the form of fairly paid internships and entry-level roles, but what I also think is important is helping people new in the sector to develop a network. Offering chances for young people to connect with professionals and initiatives in turn gives them access to new opportunities, whether that is hearing about an open job role, exchanging with someone who works in their field of interest, or even just hearing about a relevant event or training opportunity." 👇Continue reading!

Using Psychology & Data to Build Better Products | UX Designer | Product Mentor @500Latam | Lead UX Designer @Chargylize
Graduating and “throwing it all away” by moving to Mexico How starting a life from scratch reshaped my perspective on life & career Let’s start at the beginning: 🔙 in 2018 : I was studying Management, Communication & IT at MCI | The Entrepreneurial School® in Innsbruck 💭 My ideal future idea when i started: - Going into tech, working some international management position ‼ The reality after a couple of semesters: - Even though i loved to uni, peers etc. the studies were not quite my passion ⏩ to the end: - had experienced big tech, during an internship in BCN & couldn’t see a future - didn’t want to “do anything” with what i studied - wanted to work in design 🎨 So that’s how the Mexico decision happened. 🇲🇽 What where difficulties & stuff that went wrong? - not speaking the language, not knowing anyone, no job (no great starting conditions) - Learning UX on my own, with no guidance led to many wasted hours & desperation - Finding a job wasn’t really an option due to visa & salary topics Why i’d do it all over again: 1. It changed my mindset from a “i have to a “i get to” 2. I got clear on my true values, priorities, and who I am at my core 3. Taught me how to start a life from scratch 4. It showed me that following my intuition is a pretty solid guide & that not everything needs to make sense on paper 😊 Why do I share this? Because I believe in the power of taking your time to figure out what you really want :)
