The sole reason Leprechaun 3 is considered to be above average is because of its amusing nature. It has no redeeming value, is devoid of class, has awful acting and much worse writing, but it was undoubtedly entertaining to see a couple of times despite these flaws.The indisputable star of the performance is the Leprechaun (Warwick Davis), who has a number of highly humorous lines and rhymes. Both comedic and terrifying films often employ special effects.
This is the third of about six movies like this, and it's the only one I kept, mostly because it made me laugh. In the end, the tape was so bad that I threw it away. I might want to check (Leprechaun 3: The Horror Movie Review) out the DVD, which came out after the movie.
Lee Armstrong, who played the female protagonist, was a gorgeous lady but clearly not much of an actor, since she is mostly forgotten at this point.
If you're looking for something silly yet enjoyable, with a fair combination of horror and humour, this filthy little Leprechaun should suffice, but only in this version. Avoid the remaining books in the series.
