Intel preparing Arrow Lake to launch later this year.
No hyperthreading on board.
A recent leak has confirmed the existence of two configurations within the Intel Core Ultra 200 series, known as Arrow Lake. The platform mentioned, which includes MTL-S (Meteor Lake-S) and UDIMM memory, is indeed the next-generation desktop platform.
The leak reveals at least two different models, one with 24 cores and another with 20 cores. Interestingly, neither of these models supports hyperthreading. This leak mirrors a similar one from February this year, which also showcased models featuring 24 cores. Both leaks show absence of AVX-512 instruction support.

Both SKUs are currently running at a low frequency range of 2.3 to 3.0 GHz, typically associated with early engineering samples. The new processors do not have their retail names yet, nor does the platform show any signs of board partner involvement. These samples may or likely will differ in speed and capability from the qualified and later retail units. However, what won’t change is the core count, as the next-gen client CPU series are said to feature the same core count as Raptor Lake: 8 P-Cores and 16 E-Cores. The new addition is the LP-cores (or more precisely, the low-power island in the SoC tile).
Intel has yet to announce the precise launch date for the new platform. However, the company has recently unveiled its new LGA-1851 socket, which will work with the Core Ultra 100 Meteor Lake-PS processors designed for embedded systems. It’s worth noting that this same socket will also be utilized by the Core Ultra 200 series and future releases, also for consumers.
While not officially confirmed, rumors suggest that the Arrow Lake desktop lineup may incorporate the Xe-LPG GPU architecture, based on Alchemist. It is further speculated that the mobile variant (H-Series) could feature an updated version known as Xe-LPG+. However, the leaked information here does not provide any details regarding GPU architectures.
