Millfield School is looking to recruit a Dance Coach with RAD Ballet Specialism from September 2022
Millfield is an independent boarding school set in the heart of Somerset. We cater for approximately 1300 pupils, aged 13 to 18, all of whom engage in sport and physical activities. We have outstanding facilities and a vibrant multisport environment.
The Dance Coach will deliver high quality dance sessions and RAD Ballet coaching as part of the Millfield Dance Programme.
We are looking for someone with a dynamic and engaging personality who has experience of working with school age students. The Specialist Ballet Coach will coach across all age groups from year 9 to 13. The successful candidate will be a Fully qualified and experienced RAD Ballet Teacher with the ability to inspire and engage students in Dance and Ballet through detailed knowledge and a passion for ballet in education.
The hours for this role are 14-16 hours per week over the days of Monday and Tuesday. This is a term time only position, with some flexibility of the days worked, the hourly rate is £21.25.
The co-curricular programme is a vital part of Millfield’s unique offer and we are extremely proud of our current and former students’ sporting success. The person who takes on this role will play a key part in helping to maintain Millfield’s reputation for sporting brilliance.
