    *                      LD_LIBRARY_PATH, causing the web server *

    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    Plugin seems to pre-append content to `LD_LIBRARY_PATH` every
    time there is a graceful reboot resulting in a substantial
    growth
    for the variable.
    Frequent graceful reboots of Apache's web server processes leads
    to the overflow of plugin's `LD_LIBRARY_PATH` environment
    variable, subsequently resulting in the crash of the web
    server.

Problem conclusion

  • The plugin has been updated to do additional verification to
    `LD_LIBRARY_PATH` before making any updates to the variable.

    The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in fix pack
    8.5.5.26 & 9.0.5.21 . For more information, see 'Recommended
