COVID Policy items to note before you register:

Drop off and pick up for camp will be the same this year, car rider style, as we follow mitigation strategies to keep campers safe and healthy.

Currently all COVID restrictions have been lifted for 2023 4-H Camp.

However, we will continue to monitor COVID-19 Community Levels and follow mask guidance in accordance to local and CDC mask guidance.  Community level ‘High’ = mask required indoors for all 4-H programs. Community level ‘Low/Moderate’ = personal preference.

The COVID-19 Community Level data is updated once per week and Virginia Cooperative Extension (VCE) faculty/staff organizing events will include expectations for mask/face coverings in event details.  Creating a sense of belonging and a welcoming environment is a foundational principle of 4-H positive youth development.  To that end, we will support and make all individuals that choose to wear a mask/face covering feel welcome.

Note, a daily Health Check will occur on the morning of Monday, June 12, before we leave for 4-H Camp and will also occur every morning while at 4-H Camp.  Those experiencing signs of illness, fever or COVID like symptoms, will not be allowed attend and/or to stay at 4-H Camp.  We strongly discourage attendance by anyone sick or showing signs of illness within the last 14 days.
