LAUNCH: Fall Afternoon + Night Launch @Kentland (Commercial)
NRV Rocketry, Tripoli High Power, Fall-Afternoon (Commercial) Launch This is a TRA insured launch, high power, commercial launch of certified low and high power commercial motors.
Saturday Day-Launch Specifics: (11am-5pm (dusk)) TRA insured commercial-motor only launch. Because this is a day+night launch, we're setting up a little later. Setup begins later at 10am and we start flying around 11am, weather permitting. FAA waiver to 10,000 AGL,, however flights over 6,000 need to be reviewed by RSO(at)nrvr.org.
NOTE: ALL NIGHT LAUNCH configurations must be RSO approved and safely flown during the day first (see night launch rules)

This is a Tripoli insured Commercial Launch
We have all sizes launch rods and rails from 1010, up through 1515/Unirail (advance request for 1515 and UniRail please)
Current Launch maximums are:
Ceiling restriction of 5kft,
Max loaded rocket weight 30lbs
Total (combined) max motor impulse of k (L by special approval)
Sparkeis only allowed if RSO approves @day of launch
High Power Vendor: -no-vendor-
High Power Launch fee of $10/day (volunteers $5 off, NRVR members additional $5 off)
Students fly High Power for free (but donations appreciated)

Indoor restroom facilities will be available when no high power flights in progress.
Safety Requirement - Medium & High Power Pre-Launch Approval Form: For Medium through High Power Flyers (F and larger motors), special RSO approval documentation is required if you meet any of the following conditions:
are a non-NRVR-member, or are a new or a student flyer flying F through high power
plan on doing a cert flight,
plan on flying on anL motor (no Ms),
are flying anything with a projected apogee over 3k ft (AGL) altitude,
are flying a research or modified (non-stock) motor, (only at research launches)
are flying a complex multi-stage/cluster, or
are using exotic recovery or custom build materials (e.g. 3D printing, "weird rockets", etc)
or the RSO or other officer requests more pre-flight data
If you match any of the above criteria please fill out this pre-flight data capture review form and send to officers(at)nrvr.orgbefore launch day for a pre-launch document review & flight approval. If you meet any of these criteria and fail to send this info ahead of launch day, you may experience launch delays, be required to have a more in depth tear down or multi-RSO inspection, or be disallowed from flying your project at our launch.
