The food service department at South Harrison Community School Corporation will continue to distribute breakfasts and lunches to children through the summer months. The flexibility options in response to COVID-19 have been extended through the summer months. This permits that the meals may be distributed to all children aged 18 and under in a to-go manner for multiple days per distribution time. Meals will be served by the first-come, first-served manner. You will need to place the sign in your car window indicating the number of children for whom you will be collecting meals.

We are asking that you complete a new form for the summer distribution which begins June 1, 2020 and continues through July 31, 2020. If you need assistance completing the form or have further questions, please call 812-738-2168, extension 0. PLEASE SUBMIT ONE FORM PER HOUSEHOLD.

The eligibility criteria is super-simple: All children aged 18 and under.

Distribution Sites - Distribution sites are located at the Corydon, Heth-Washington and South Central campuses. Please remain in your car and proceed through the line. Be patient and courteous to our staff as they distribute the food and to all patrons waiting on the first-come, first served basis. You may collect the food for your household at whichever location is most convenient for you, regardless of which school your student attends. Within the survey, you will be asked to select the site that is most convenient for your family. There will not be a delivery option available for the summer months. However, you may ask a family member or friend to pick up your meals on your behalf.

Times of Distribution: Your household will receive 3 breakfast meals and 3 lunch meals for each eligible child each Monday from noon through 2:00 p.m. Likewise, on Thursday, your household will receive 2 breakfast meals and 2 lunch meals during the same hours of noon through 2:00 p.m.
