2017 MAMA Seattle Eleventh Annual Banquet

MAMA Seattle’s Eleventh Annual Banquet will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, from 12 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the Four Seasons Hotel in Seattle. Check-in begins at 11:30 a.m.
MAMA Seattle is pleased to be honoring retired Washington State Supreme Court Justice Bobbe J. Bridge with our 2017 Betty Binns Fletcher Leadership and Justice Award.
Justice Bridge is the Founding President/CEO of the Center for Children & Youth Justice, a nonprofit organization she created in 2006 to reform Washington State’s child welfare and juvenile justice systems. She served on the State Supreme Court from 2000 to 2008 and on the King County Superior Court from 1990 to 2000, where she was Chief Juvenile Court Judge for three years. She continues to chair the Washington State Supreme Court Commission on Children in Foster Care. Before joining the bench, Justice Bridge was the first female partner at the Seattle law firm of Garvey Schubert Barer.
MAMA Seattle's Betty Binns Fletcher Leadership and Justice Award is given each year to an individual who has paved the way to success for, and has served as an inspiration to, other women attorneys striving to excel in their legal careers while balancing family demands. Justice Bridge is a trailblazer and tireless advocate for children and families. For all of these reasons and many more, MAMA Seattle is honored to be able to present Justice Bridge its 2017 Betty Binns Fletcher Leadership and Justice Award at the MAMA Seattle Eleventh Annual Banquet coming up on November 1, 2017.
Justice Bridge's friend and former colleague, Justice Mary Yu, will provide introductory remarks.
