Martial Arts' Expert Sensei Thomas H. Levesque has awarded a local
martial arts family, the Wrights a 1-2-3 Award knockout of Black Belts. Sensei
Levesque awarded Randy Wright (Dad) his 3rd degree Black Belt, Ramona
Wright (Mom) her 2nd degree Black Belt and their son Daniel Wright his 1st
degree Black Belt. It is a rare occasion when an individual is awarded a
BlackBelt promotion. So when you see a family of three get promoted on the
same day with 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree Black Belts you know it's probably a once
in a lifetime event. The Wrights should be commended on their dedication and
perseverance to the Martial Arts. The Wrights train at the American Academy of
Martial Arts in Clovis and Fresno.
The American Academy of Martial Arts teaches men, women and children a
unique and innovative form of American martial arts called Aam-Ka-Jutsu (AKJ)
and BuKaraDo (BKD). AKJ and BKD are eclectic arts. They draw from the better
aspects of Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Filipino martial arts.
The Associated American Karate Systems' (AAKS) is a nationally recognized
sanctioning body for martial art schools and programs. |
