MONROE, La. – The Latest on the Louisiana trial of a man indicted for the Mississippi burning death of Jessica Chambers (all times local):

A jury has been seated in the trial of a man accused of illegally using the debit card of a woman stabbed to death in northeast Louisiana.
Ouachita (WAH'-shuh-taw) Parish Assistant District Attorney Neal Johnson says six jurors and two alternates were selected Tuesday in the trial of Quinton Tellis.
Tellis faces trial in Monroe for using a debit card belonging to Meing-Chen Hsiao and for marijuana possession. The Taiwanese woman was found stabbed to death in August, but Tellis isn't charged in the death.
Tellis also faces capital murder charges in the burning death of north Mississippi teenager Jessica Chambers.
The trial is recessed until Thursday morning, when Johnson says opening statements will begin.
If convicted, Tellis could face a life sentence without parole because of previous felony convictions.

Jury selection continues Tuesday in the trial of a man accused of illegally using the debit card of a woman stabbed to death in northeast Louisiana.
A judge ruled Monday that prosecutors must limit discussion of Meing-Chien Hsiao's death. Quinton Tellis is charged with illegally using her debit card after she died, as well as possessing marijuana.
Unlike in Mississippi, where Tellis faces capital murder charges in the death of teenager Jessica Chambers, he's not charged with Hsiao's death.
A prosecutor says the trial will recess from noon Tuesday until Thursday morning.
If convicted, Tellis could face a life sentence because of previous felony convictions. He's expected to face trial in Chambers' death in Mississippi later. Chambers was found on fire on a rural road in Courtland in December 2014, next to her car, which was also burning. She died hours later at a hospital.
