Get Ready for the Holidays Auction

Originally called the "Pay It Forward Program", we've expanded our efforts and applied to be a non-profit organization with a new name: Manual Therapy Foundation. The primary mission is the same: to provide financial assistance to those in need of Lymphedema Therapy or Medical Massage who otherwise could not afford it. In addition, this organization is dedicated to educating more massage therapists and others in the manual therapy professions in effective medical massage treatments, and to highlighting the need for these services with medical professionals and insurance industries. All auction items are donated and all monies will be used to further these efforts.

This foundation was organized for the purpose of providing pain relief and the treatment of disorders that are positively affected by manual therapy to those who are unable to receive these treatments due to income restrictions. Conditions that could be eligible for treatment include lymphedema, shoulder pain, plantar faciitis, back pain, sciatic nerve neuralgia, golfer's/tennis elbow, piriformis syndrome, neck pain and many more. The mission of this foundation is to help remedy the current health care situation where the majority of health insurance companies do not cover these types of necessary treatments, or the coverage is limited to medical providers that do not employ properly educated manual therapy practitioners.
