Seattle port boss on paid leave pending drink-drive trial

Facing a trial for drink driving in two months time, the CEO of the Port of Seattle Ted Flick has been put on paid administrative leave. The American port said the move was down to a “resolution of personnel issues”.

The port’s chief operating officer, Dave Soike, has been named acting CEO.

Fick was picked as port CEO in August 2014. He was cited for driving under the influence in April last year.
