A tenement and lands in Cheryton-fitz-payne [Cheriton Fitzpaine], Devon, some time the estate of Thomas Prous, by deed and recovery anno 1 Henry VIII settled on John Gye and Mary Gye his wife - The bill also states a will made by Sir James Courtney, whereby he disposed of his lands in Burgheby, Lamport [Langport], Westover, Pitneyweare [Pitney-Weare], Hamgartoynge, Overham, Netherham, Allybeare [Bere Aller], and Northmore, and Beare, and Burgheby Lamport, and St Michael's Burrough [St Michael's Borough and Saltmore, and in Northcoker [North Coker] in the parish of Estcoker [East Coker], Somerset.
