Brief Description
We welcome you to join us for a stimulating conversation about innovative and interdisciplinary pedagogical strategies! The unconference meeting will be used to brainstorm with and incorporate input from other dedicated teacher-scholars about the makeup and goals for a Working Group on Innovative Pedagogy to be proposed within ASEEES in 2020. The Working Group will be a space for scholars to share teaching resources and strategies, from digital tools to tips for creating an inclusive classroom. The roundtable organizers for the two Engaging Approaches to Teaching sessions at ASEEES, Johanna Mellis and Kathryn Julian, are enthusiastic about including perspectives from Central-Eastern European and Eurasian historians from all levels of the teaching and professional realms.
