Clare Janty
Barron Medical Center is pleased to announce that Clare Janty, Physician Assistant, has recently completed masters training in life coaching through Learning Journeys International School of Coaching in Columbia Heights, Minn.
Coaching involves a process of discovery, exploration and transformation. PA Janty intends to use these skills to assist people in achieving their lifestyle goals, which may include to stop smoking, to loose weight, exercise, and chronic disease management.

"Often a person knows what to do regarding their health but has difficulty beginning the effort, sustaining it, and/or accomplishing the goal," explains Janty. "Coaching works one-on-one or in a group increasing your skill at defining what it is that you want, how to get it, and what gets in the way of getting what you want."

She adds, "Coaching involves making sustainable changes in you and how you relate to others. The opportunity for weekly homework keeps the process moving forward."
