Happy Sunday, Pride!
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and that you and your family are well rested and ready to for the week ahead. My family and I had a nice weekend. We had the boys track team over to our house for some team building activities, including a polar plunge in our crisp cool 52 degrees pool.
Reflecting on the week gone by, it was indeed a flurry of activity at Riverwalk Academy. Our recent board meeting on Tuesday was particularly noteworthy, as we proudly unveiled and secured approval for the 24-25 school calendar for grades K-9. As promised, the calendar for grades 10-12 has also been made available for your convenience.
As for our campus, this week was spent doing prep work for the upcoming construction. I believe the first task is to “demo” the house that’s on our campus. They will also be bringing in numerous truckloads of dirt to raise the ground where the new building will go.
Amidst these exhilarating developments, we are thrilled to announce the kickoff of our spring sports season. Our boys' and girls' track teams, along with our boys' golf team, are poised to showcase their talents and sportsmanship in the weeks ahead.
As we stand on the precipice of progress and opportunity, I am filled with gratitude for the collective journey we are undertaking together. Let us embrace the challenges and triumphs that lie ahead with unwavering resilience and unity.
Here's to a week filled with inspiration, growth, and achievement.
In Strength and Blessings,
~Dr. Compton
