Y Guides Interest Form
The Y-Guides program encourages development of the father-child relationship.

Children in grades K-3 participate in all activities with their father (or other adult).

The Columbia, SC area YMCA organizes the Y Guides program around a Native American Indian theme.

Groups of families meet about once a month as a "Tribe."  Area tribes join together periodically for federation events.

Tribe activities may include crafts, games, hikes, and camping.  Federation activities include the kite fly, pool pow wow, bowling night, and Fall/Spring Long House weekend campouts.

Annual family fees are $20 for YMCA members and $65 for non YMCA members plus $10 for each additional child.

Older children may participate in the YMCA Trailblazers program.
