Default Going to try this E-Cutout - Raceland Switch-N-Blast

Searching on the net for a cutout and came across this one:

http://www.racelandus.com/p-68-racel...-remote-3.aspx

I contacted the seller to see if the ID measurement was wrong and make sure it would fit on the Ram's 3" exhaust pipe, the seller was quick to reply with a yes to both questions.

They offer a 2 year warranty on it, and it supposedly comes with 2 wireless remotes to control the cutout.

For $98, I said what the hell, and ordered it. At first I plan to just clamp it in front of the muffler. As long as it works well, I'll have it welded into place. I'll let you guys know how it goes when I get it... Shipped today, won't see it until Monday.

********************EDIT*********************

Installed... Definitely makes the truck sound mean... I'll be honest and say I thought it was going to be a little bit louder, but it's still quite loud enough... Sorry for only one vid, but I was racing to get done before I had to go to work, so that's all you get for now...

Count me as curious how it works out. If it is good it would be a cheap alternative to the other cutouts available. Get us some pics of it too so we can get a better idea of what it looks like and how it's made.

Hey, I had the quick time perforance cut out on my jeep when i had it. It did the job great and even on my inline 6, the jeep sounded like a semi going down the rode. Had fun scaring people. The only thing is in the winter, the motors seem to freeze up when it gets really cold out and broke it. Did that to mine and had to order another motor.

I'll agree the pics on the website aren't the best. I just sent an email to the seller requesting some better pictures. If he sends them to me, I'll post on here.

Agreed, not sure how practical they are but might be a cool little feature.
