Visitor information
Toronto is one of the world's great cities and is Canada's most multi-cultural urban area with over 150 languages spoken every day. With a vibrant, safe, and growing downtown, shopping for all tastes and budgets, an incredible selection of cuisine, countless museums and cultural landmarks, and an endless variety of music and entertainment, Toronto is the cultural heart of a region of five million people.

Toronto is well-served by international transportation. Toronto Pearson International Airport serves almost 30 million passengers with almost 70 international airlines, and is a short transit or taxi ride from downtown. Rail service is also available from major Canadian centres and direct from American cities like New York. Trains arrive at Union Station, right in the centre of Toronto's downtown core.
