We enjoyed a very successful show, exhibiting at the long-awaited Offshore Europe this September, in Aberdeen.

Extensive trials of revolutionary flippers for STS cranes are continuing in the UK.

The performance and success of the multiple problem-solving product shall pave the way for time-saving, cost-efficient, high performance results for the UK’s ports industry.

Having been supplied and installed by Barlow Technology Ltd, the  Inamer manufactured product and the trials are being monitored and overseen by our teams on-site.

Providing a unique solution to impact damage, wear and costly replacements, whilst reducing downtime on STS spreaders, the innovative design will run up to 40,000 cycles before needing replaced, affording Flexi-Flippers an operational lifespan of more than ten times that of traditional flippers, saving on costly downtimes and expensive container delays, whilst additionally being safer for crane operators.

Using a uniquely engineered mechanism and already in use in a number of terminals throughout Europe, the highly adaptable and durable Flexi-Flipper is manufactured using premium materials and designed to be highly flexible to accommodate impacts and overloads, whilst retaining rigidity for normal loads.
