    Well well well! Joz Maxel What can I actually say! To start this was a fantastic debut. I loved the characters! Corey and Novalee pulled on my heart strings and had me gripped from the very start. I’ll admit she had me shouting at novas ex in fact I’m sure there were some messages involved especially as she made me start to like him!

    But that being said...as an author there isn’t many books out there that can hold my attention but can I just say I didn’t put this down, I read it in one sitting!! But I do love characters that bring out all my emotions and these characters did just that! I can’t wait for Rourkes book.

    Joz Maxel you’ve done a brilliant job with this debut, keep up the good work Chica and please don’t make me wait too long...

    Before going in I thought I was going to read a messy cheating book but it's not that at all.
    I enjoyed the story it has some drama but it's definitely not the angst fest I was expecting. All the characters in the book have strong personalities, I liked them all even Dane but Nova, Corey and the children shine through.
    For me the story was confused it was like it didn't know which way to go. Her dads in a motorcycle club but it's only mentioned in a vague sense, I can't believe an MC wouldn't do anything in payback to Dane. I also needed more about Nova and Corey's life after the prologue, it would have helped round the story out instead I felt like I was playing catch up with their story. Ultimately the book was about accepting your failures and mistakes, accepting and giving forgiveness.
    As a debut book it was good and I think this is an author to watch out for in the future.

    Fast paced story that read so fluidly, like that of a seasoned writer. I couldn't put it down and read it in one sitting.
    I adored Nova and Corey instantly, his love for her apparent from the first chapter. You can feel their love and chemistry from the very beginning.
    Two friends in love with the same girl and in every word you can feel the love they both felt, the jealousy, the striving to right past wrongs and making up for mistakes.
    I thought I'd hate Dane but the twist in the story was brilliant, unexpected and refreshing.
    This book brings you all the feels.
    I can't wait to see what else Joz Maxel comes up with, a definite one click for me

    I really liked this book.
    Nova and Corey have a relationship a lot of people could only dream about. They were supposed to be together from the get-go, but other things got in the way—Dane.
    15 years later and a happy family life, Nova and Corey and thrust into chaos all over again.
    I loved how The story unfolded, and there were a few twists and turns I never say coming.
    Great read that I would recommend.

    Wow! What a powerful book. I was gripped from the prologue and couldn't put it down until I was finished.
    My Absolution is a story about friendship, hurt, love, forgiveness and second chances. The story was different to what I would normally read and it completely blew me away. The raw emotions the book portrayed amazed me.
    I loved the way it was written and the fact that we got to hear the story from all3 main characters point of view.
    I loved the characters Corey is the ideal hero and together he makes a super power couple with Nova. I loved them and their family.
    For a debut novel this books has the wow factor.

This is a beautifully written flawless story, which is heartfelt, intense, and emotional, with complex characters. This is a truly brilliant love story, about forgiveness and second chances. I cannot wait to read more from this talented author, and I recommend for all readers!

    My Absolution is the debut release for Joz Maxel. This is a love story and also a story about forgiveness and second chances. And this debut release knocked my FREAKING socks off! Joz Maxel really nailed everything about this book, from the high intensity emotions to the playful details of the girls, Leni and Lola and their very big personalities. Even though they don't have huge roles, their impact to the story is huge.

    From the beginning, this story grabbed my attention and as time marched on all the characters had a little piece of my heart. Corey is an amazing man, that stepped up to love and cherish Nova, the way a woman should be loved and cherish…totally and completely! His love for her radiated from the pages (or kindle if you will) and his fierce protectiveness of Rourke, his girls and all that he and Nova built together was second to none!

    Things are not what they seem and with every chapter you are pulled further and further into the story and you will feel as though you have just stepped off of a thrilling emotional roller coaster ride; but in the end….you didn’t think I was going to give anything away did you?! Lol!

    In the end, My Absolution is a beautifully written story that you will be glad you experienced. And I for one loved my experience and I am looking forward to reading more from this very talented, first time author! Way to go Joz!!!

    This is a fantastic debut novel. Once I started reading it I didn't want to put it down. Corey was the perfect hero. A hot tattooed very protective alpha who is so sweet. I loved the way he loved Nova and kids. Definitely a new favorite hero. Nova is fantastic as well. I like how despite all the drama going on their relationship stayed strong. Can't wait to see what Joz Maxel writes next.

    A story about love, loss and forgiveness, My Absolution is a haunting debut for Joz Maxel. Nova, Corey and Dane are friends since childhood, whose lives are forever intertwined even after a tragic incident leaves one broken, one trying to pick up the pieces and one out in the cold.

    The story is sometimes heartbreaking, sometimes heartwarming and always emotionally charged. While you get to see the story from all three characters POV, the story flows seamlessly between their views. The plot, dialogue and characters are phenomenal.

    Joz drew me in from page one and held me until the last. What a fantastic debut, I can’t wait to see what else she has in store for us.
