Applicants for this Merchandiser position will need to be comfortable and confident in managing and analysing large amounts of data, with a great understanding of excel & WSSI. You need to be a good communicator across all levels, managing effective working relationships with suppliers and trading teams.

Key Responsibilities for this Merchandiser role:

• Updating the key reports on the department: WSSIs, Line Cards, Range Plans

• Ordering product to fulfil sales requirements

• Assisting in creating, planning and executing range changes

• Close management of the Critical Path

• Supporting the Merchandise Planner in all aspects of the effective running of the department

What skills and experiences will you need to be successful in this Merchandiser role?

• A good understanding of Buying and Merchandising

• The ability to work effectively within a team

• Excellent Excel Skills

• Good communication skills – working closely with Buying, Branch Merchandising, Retail Operations, Logistics and external Suppliers

• A thorough approach required on forecasting and planning sales and intake across the range]
