Our client is a big player in the FMCG sector and as a result of continued expansion they are looking to strengthen their operations team with an experienced and talented Health and Safety Manager at their site based in Norfolk.
The role will involve proactively working with other management staff to establish and maintain a culture of safe, environmentally friendly practices across the organisation. Working alongside the senior management team, you will be responsible for devising and implementing the company’s health and safety policies and systems, and keeping up-to-date with all relevant legislation.
You will need ensure a safe and healthy work environment by the completion and regular review of risk assessments for all work equipment and operations. All staff will need training and empowerment to ensure all departments adopt a strong health and safety strategy and live and breath it in all their work.
Ideal Candidate:
• Experienced in Health and Safety Manager role in an FMCG company driving change and improvements
• Can demonstrate an ability to drive a health and safety strategy
• NEBOSH qualified or equivalent
• A passionate and strong coach/mentor who is able to engage multi-disciplined teams
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
