Where are all the good guys with guns?

Apparently not in Dallas, where Vice President Mike Pence will address the National Rifle Association convention this week.

According to the Dallas Morning News, the gun-lovers have to surrender their Second Amendment rights and have their guns stripped from them when the Vice President speaks.

They will also have to hand over knives and any other weapons.

The weapons ban was mocked on Twitter, including by Fred Guttenberg, father of Jaime Guttenberg, who was killed in the Parkland shooting.

"I thought giving everyone a gun was to enhance safety. Am I missing something?" he tweeted.

"Wait wait wait wait wait wait you’re telling me to make the VP safe there aren’t any weapons around but when it comes to children they want guns everywhere? Can someone explain this to me? Because it sounds like the NRA wants to protect people who help them sell guns, not kids," wrote survivor Matt Deitsch.
