According to the prevailing rules, the victim can lodge a complaint with the concerned police station after committing any crime.


 But since he is not in the country or he is staying elsewhere for livelihood, he cannot complain in person to the concerned police station.


 Again, no one agrees to go to the police station on behalf of the victim for fear of legal complications.


 Complaints must be received via email and other digital methods in such situations.


 What is the need to digitalize the police if you have to appear in person to lodge a complaint at the police station?

প্রচলিত নিয়মে কোন অপরাধ ঘটার পর ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত ব্যক্তি সংশ্লিষ্ট থানায় অভিযোগ করতে পারেন।


কিন্তু দেশে না থাকায় অথবা জীবিকার তাগিদে অন্যত্র থাকার কারণে সংশ্লিষ্ট থানায় নিজে উপস্থিত হয়ে অভিযোগ করতে পারেন না।


আবার আইনি জটিলতার আশঙ্কায় ভিকটিমের পক্ষ থেকে কেউ থানায় যেতে রাজিও হয় না।


এ রকম পরিস্থিতিতে ইমেইল ও অন্যান্য ডিজিটাল পদ্ধতিতে অবশ্যই অভিযোগ গ্ৰহণ করা উচিত।


থানায় অভিযোগ করার জন্য যদি নিজে উপস্থিত হতে হয় তবে পুলিশের ডিজিটাল করণের দরকার কী ?


আর থানায় অভিযোগের জন্য যদি লোকের দরকার হয় ,তবে পুলিশের কাছে যাওয়ার দরকার কী ?


মূলত অভিযোগ যদি সত্য হয়,তাহলে অভিযোগকারীকে থানায় উপস্থিত হওয়া অথবা লোক পাঠানোর কোন দরকারই হয় না।
