NEW DELHI: The Delhi high court on Wednesday asked chief minister
Arvind Kejriwal to reply in four weeks on the matter of having allegedly submitted a false affidavit.
The affidavit was submitted in a case against Kejriwal filed by Union minister
Arun Jaitley.
"
Ram Jethmalani was instructed by Arvind Kejriwal to use abusive words against me," alleged finance minister Jaitley to the Delhi high court on Wednesday.
In this affidavit, Kejriwal had said he did not instruct Jethmalani - who was his lawyer when the alleged abuse took place -
to use abusive words against the minister.

Jaitley told the Delhi high court he has a letter from Jethmalani in which the lawyer alleged
he was instructed by Kejriwal to use abusive words against Jaitley.
The next hearing in the matter was listed for December 11 by the Delhi high court.
These alleged abusive words were used in open court on May 17, during proceedings in a defamation suit Jaitley filed against Kejriwal and five Aam Aadmi Party functionaries.
