The voting has ended and the Cincinnati.com players of the week, as voted on by readers, have been decided. 

Football team of the week: Reading – Mancini Jackson scored the winning touchdown with 23 seconds left beating Mariemont 23-21 Oct. 6.

NKY Football Player of the Week: Ian Vallandingham, Ludlow – The sophomore wide receiver had two touchdown receptions from Justin Blackburn of 20 and 42 yards to help Ludlow beat Dayton 60-8.

Ohio Football Player of the Week: Michael Bittner, Elder – Michael had a hand in four of Elder’s five touchdowns Friday night in a 42-14 win over Moeller. Bittner ran the Panther’s first two scores in and threw the next two.

Girls Golfer of the Week: Rachelle Soh/Leyton Brumfield, Ursuline Academy – These girls tied for fifth place, helping their team place first at the sectional tournament Oct. 2.

Boys Golfer of the Week: Jack Baker, Elder – He tied for first with Cameron Frazier as sectional champion Oct. 4 at Miami Whitewater.

Tennis Player of the Week: Jillian Blatt/Natalie Choo of Seven Hills – The duo won a sectional title at the Division II Mason tournament last week.

Boys Soccer Player of the Week: Logan Willis, New Richmond – The freshman scored two goals to lead New Richmond in a win over Reading on Thursday.

Girls Soccer Player of the Week: Ellie Hellmann, Notre Dame Academy – Hellmann scored the deciding goal in a 2-1 win over Newport Central Catholic.

Volleyball Player of the Week: Alyssa Overbeck, Mother of Mercy – She had 63 digs in the last three wins over Seton, McAuley and Ursuline and is ranked fourth in the GGCL in that category.

Girls Cross Country Runner of the Week: Ellie Carr, Loveland – She took second place in the Tippecanoe Invitational Oct. 4, the highest of local runners.

Boys Cross Country Runner of the Week: Ridge Cook, Batavia – He took first place at the Williamsburg Invitational Oct. 7.
