You will be working in the heart of Salford Quays for a nationwide building services consultants looking to add a Junior Building Services Engineer to their team in the coming months. You will be working within an excellent team culture, a team that works well together and enjoy the social side of things as well. You will be mentored by experienced and knowledgeable staff who will help you with each project, these will vary from smaller works initially to looking at larger projects in the future.
With a rich history of developing its staff and investing academically and professional through training and networking events, you will be in safe hands as a Junior Engineer. Ideally you will be coming from a college background with ONC/HNC qualifications and have some experience as a CAD Technician within a Building Services team or practice. You will begin by looking at the CAD work to settle in, familiarise yourself with the projects and then develop into a Junior Engineer. Areas of limited knowledge will be improved throughout this period.
You will be working on a varied project base and they encourage that you work on a wide variety of works to keep the team motivated and remove any tedium from the position. These sectors will include Care Villages, Student and Private Accommodation (high rise and low rise), Leisure, Offices and Schools. Some of these projects are prestigious and therefore haven’t hit the press yet but are due to in the coming weeks.
They will help you with university sponsorship and If you require day release to go to college or maybe even the financial support, this can also be accommodated.
