Abandoned Aston: Washington Port Authority Sale
This 1974 Aston Martin was apparently either abandoned or confiscated and is offered by the Pasco, Washington port authority as a sealed bid auction. The car wears Canadian plates and has no title, and is offered along side a Jaguar XKE V-12 2+2 that has some very odd driver door damage. The circumstances are about as odd as we have seen, but the cars have much more appeal than most we’ve seen driving around Southeastern Washington state. Find the info here via the Pasco Port Authority where you’ll need to get your bids counted by Wednesday. Special thanks to BaT reader Dominic D. for this submission!
We don’t really have any interest in large tail-light XKE’s, but does this white car help with the story on the Aston? This car looks like it hit a deer right in the driver door. Did they belong to the same person? Did he know how to drive a stick shift? So many questions…
This is one of the weirder classic car offerings we have ever found. We’d love to know what they eventually sell for. Bonus points ifhe new seller drives away with the back of the Aston filled with the “white tarps” also on offer.
