PLAYDIUS Announces Boiling Bolt and Teases Unannounced Titles

By Rebecca Smith,
PLAYDIUS may not have made a splash on Xbox One yet, but that's set to change with not one but seven upcoming titles. All of these will be appearing at Gamescom next month and are set to release over the next few months. The publisher has announced six of them but one is new to us: Boiling Bolt.

This 2.5D twin-stick shooter from Persistant Studio puts players in the shoes of young rebel June as she battles the slavers that took over the world decades previously. She'll need to use her extensive arsenal effectively and will be able to make use of weapons such as Thunder Lock, Plasma Whip and Warp Launcher in her customisable ship. Players will need to conquer 30 challenges across solo and co-op modes like Arcade, Free Run and One Shot One Kill. To get the high scores, you'll need to perfect bullet time. You'll get your chance to get onto the leaderboards when the game is released in Q4 2017.

The other six have all received new release windows. You can check those out in the table below. Click on the game's title to see all of our previous coverage and details.

Finally, the publisher teased four more titles that will be announced at Gamescom. Few details were given apart from the following teaser images and there's a chance that they might not be released on Xbox One at all. What do you think?

As ever, we'll be sure to let you know when we get any more information on any of the upcoming titles.
