Journal article: A Prospective Programmatic Cost Analysis of Fuel Your Life: A Worksite Translation of DPP
Description: Ingels et al. compared both the impact and cost of three variations of the Diabetes Prevention Program, adapted for the worksite. The program, Fuel Your Life, was implemented through group, phone, and self-study modalities. Using a micro-costing approach, the authors found that the phone modality was the most costly at $354.6 per participant, compared with $154.6 and $75.5 for the group and self-study modalities, respectively. We will discuss the methods and implications of this detailed cost-analysis study.
