Highlights: Moderate rain throughout the morning. Birding was best from the 
Delacorte Theater along the west side of the Great Lawn to the Pinetum, with 
insects from a hatch-out at the Pinetum drifting into other areas. Twenty-one 
Species of Wood Warblers this morning included eight Bay-breasted Warblers and 
twelve Blackburnian Warblers. Swallows were numerous, especially Barn Swallow 
(75). Also counted Cliff Swallow (2), Tree Swallow (6), and Northern 
Rough-winged Swallow (4).

Northern Parula - 40 (10 adult males)

Bay-breasted Warbler - 8 (5 male, 3 female)
Blackburnian Warbler - 12 (6 male, 6 female)
Yellow Warbler - 8 (3 male, 5 female)

Janet Wooten @Spritelink reported a female Bobolink, a bird that is rare in 
Central Park, on the east side of the Great Lawn via twitter at 12:35PM.
