SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – People who want to open a small business got some eye-opening advice today.
The Library District partnered with the Small Business Majority to hold a morning seminar at the Library Center.
Entrepreneurs learned how to build credit, find grants, understand financial terms and market their services.
And if you have a business idea, the library can help you research it’s viability.
“We have a ton of print materials, which people know about, but we also have a ton of things online they can access digitally. We have some data bases where they can find new customers, they can track market trends, they can segment the market and see who they’re really servicing,” Jeana Gockley says.
The library also offers space, if you just want to have a meeting or co-work on a project.
