Becoming Wiser Together
Join us for a day dedicated to pursing how we can become "wiser together" and more prepared to address the challenges and opportunities of these times. Together with World Cafe founders Juanita Brown and David Isaacs, we will explore how World Cafe and other dialogue processes strengthen conversational leadership and social change efforts. This day aims to be informative for both seasoned dialogue practitioners and those who are eager to learn more.
In this workshop we will have opportunities to advance and deepen our work as hosts of World Cafes and other dialogue approaches. We will:
- Explore how World Cafe and other dialogue processes allow us to find common ground and become Wiser Together
- Learn from Juanita Brown's experience using conversational leadership to address major organizational and community challenges, while inspiring and activating more caring, collaborative and creative citizens.
- Consider how the foundational values and design principles enhance our ability to host powerful gatherings.
- Share stories and learnings with one another about experiences hosting meaningful conversations
- Contribute to participatory research as we examine principles and practices for becoming Wiser Together and how they apply to our work.
- Discover "What is our's to do".
