You will be working for a leading independent consultant in the Building Services sector who have recently opened a second office in the heart of Manchester City Centre and are looking to recruit an Office/Engineering/Marketing Trainee. The company have recently confirmed their tenancy in new office space in the Manchester Northern Quarter in the lively and thriving Ancoats area and are going from strength to strength. The office is in a very trendy part of town with some excellent amenities close by, plenty of construction projects and set to become a vibrant and busy area of the city centre. They are a very proactive company and are investing considerable time and significant expertise into Manchester and have already secured a couple of senior figures to lead and run the office.
This is a very varied role which will give you exposure in so many areas of a business and give you the option of what path you take in your career – which is rare. Whether you fancy taking the lead in the Marketing side of things, keen to become an office manager or a fully-fledged engineer, this company will support you throughout and allow you to grow into each role at your own pace.
The ideal person will have an interest in buildings and achieved solid GCSE passess (at least 4 A-C passes including Maths and English) as well as be able to demonstrate an interest in each of the three areas. Regarding experience, you may have started as a trainee within a practice already, have been in an admin or marketing role at a construction company, or been doing related qualifications at college.
You will need to be keen to learn and get involved; they are not looking for someone who expects to be spoon fed, and willing to share your ideas and thoughts. They haven't achieved their current success by being closed to new ideas.
