UUCA General Assembly 2019 (Spokane) Application to be a Delegate

UU General Assembly will be taking place in Spokane, WA June 19-23. The official website is at: https://www.uua.org/ga . Though anyone can attend, either in person or remotely, UUCA's Nominating Committee nominates delegates to vote and represent UUCA. The nominated individuals are certified by UUCA administration and approved by the Board.

We will be sending 17 delegates this year with 17 alternate spots.

This application is meant to help the Nominating Committee collect information and interest for both GA Delegates and Attendees and to also allow for the individual to reflect on their goals and desires to attend GA.

You also must be a UUCA Member in good standing.

Expectations to be a delegate include attending all or most of the plenary sessions, which are the business meetings of the UUA. Here, discussion, voting and otherwise participating in GA take place and you will represent UUCA. Additionally, upon return, delegates will be expected to share their experiences and other gleanings from GA with the broader UUCA community afterward and to practice the lessons learned and to help recruit the next GA class.
