The Department of Surgery will host the Nathan A. Womack Surgical Society Research Day on Friday, June 7, 2019. The day begins with our Research Program which brings together trainees, faculty members and alumni to highlight and celebrate the diversity of clinical and basic sciences research within the Department. Our Nathan A. Womack Distinguished Visiting Professor will be Yuman Fong, MD, DSc (Hon), Chair and Professor, Department of Surgery and the Sangiacomo Family Chair in Surgical Oncology at the City of Hope Medical Center in Duarte, California. 

All events for the day will be held at the UNC School of Dentistry.
