Principia College honors author Joan Koelle Snipes

Author Joan Koelle Snipes of Shepherdstown, West Virginia was featured at a reception at Principia College in Elsah, Illinois in July 2006. The occasion was an alumni reunion that feted all the published authors who are graduates of Principia.
"That Ye May Teach the Children: A Bible Outline with Questions for Parents and Teachers" by Snipes was published in 2001 by Bible Teaching Press. The book is a manual designed to make teaching the key stories and passages of the Bible easier.
Since March of 2000, Snipes has been conducting Bible workshops. She's traveled to England, Canada and twenty states, from Florida to Oregon. Her topics include: teaching the Bible to children, Hezekiah and women prophets.
Snipes is a consultant for the website www.Biblewise.com. She also publishes a Bible-related e-newsletter six times a year. All her professional activities are related to advancing the cause of Bible literacy. Snipes graduated from Principia College in 1973. She double majored in English and Elementary Education.
