The Church of Frienship Love and Light
Welcome to our little church
to many here it means so much
some people come because they're lost
the friendship here is free of cost
It isn't grand, just a modest hall
but its full of love inside its walls
we share our worries, hopes and fears
there's lots of laughter sometimes tears
It rids us all of greed or gain
we learn to share each others pain
There is always someone to lend an ear
to any troubles we may bear
It helps us look at life a new
the friendship in here all helps us through
so if you have struggles that are hard to fight
share in Friendship of Love and Light
Our symbol is a pure white dove
because this is the church of love

Since Eddie Doherty founded the church and opened it on Sunday 15th July back in 2001, he always strived to bring help and comfort to many people from all walks of life, whether it was through his gifts of the spirit or that cheeky smile that he so often adorned. The fact still remains that we should keep his vision alive and this is still our aim at the church to help as many people as we can. So we welcome you all to come along and share in that dream that was made the reality by Eddie that is today the Friendship of Love & Light Spiritual Church. Our weekly services start at 6:30pm every Sunday evening where you are invited to come along and visit in a relaxed and informal inviroment.
We are a registered charity - a non profit orginisation. All money from collection, raffles, and the kitchen go to local charities at the end of the year. We are proud to say in the five years since we opened our doors we have given away over £ 14,500 to various charities And this year we should be well on target to give away £3,000 or above at our christmas special, but this is all thanks to you our congregation for the money you have kindly donated over the time you have visited us, for without you we simply could not do it, so thank you all so much.
After the first Clairvoyance service at 6:30pm till 8:00pm, we have a healing circle from 8:30pm till 9:30pm. (10pm if the circle is large).
To get to centre there are buses that run from Paisley Town Centre, plus you can park at centre.
Before Eddie Doherty passed away we he appointed a new president to take over from him his name is Paul Erroch, and we can assure you he will do his utmost best to help keep the church going. We have lots of friendly helpers, from the development circle who will give you a friendly welcome as you come through the doors and will assist you in any way they can. So if you feel you would like to come and visit us then please do.
At the end of 2007 Paul decided to step down as President of the church and we are currently without a president.
This does not mean we are closing and as all things change we grow stronger. We look forward to welcoming you to our church
