Our client an award winning independent salmon farming business that operate exclusively in Scotland with over 60 sites including freshwater and processing plants are recruiting a number of Marine Operators to join the company on a permanent basis and to assist the business into becoming Scotland’s leading fresh food business.
Reporting directly to a senior marine operative your key responsibilities will be:
- Have the ability to operate machinery, equipment and boats in a safe manner
- Work to strict KPIs
- Fault finding and reporting
- Ensure you are operating to the correct standards set by the industry.
Skills/Experience:
Have a flexible and reliable approach to work
- Be a team player but equally have the ability to work on your own initiative
- Have the skills and ability to work on or around boats
- Be either working towards your skipper qualifications or already have this in place
