Principals Advisory Council to meet virtually on Oct. 8

(FRANKFORT, KY) – The Principals Advisory Council will meet virtually from 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. ET on Oct. 8.

The Principals Advisory Council (PrAC) provides direct input to Kentucky’s commissioner of education about important issues in Kentucky schools. The council allows for discussion and feedback from the field on topics that will lead to the improvement of Kentucky public schools and the opportunities they afford students. The goal of the council is to ensure excellent teaching and learning is happening in every classroom in every Kentucky school.

Pursuant to Executive Order 2020-243 and a memorandum issued by the Finance and Administration Cabinet dated March 16, 2020, and in an effort to prevent the spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the PrAC will meet utilizing video teleconference. Members of the public will not be permitted to attend the meeting in person, but are encouraged to view the meeting later on the Kentucky Department of Education's Media Portal.
